Is there any cost to participate?

There is no direct cost for participating in the program. Instead of paying the normal 15% or 20% booking agency commissions, we ask you to agree to pass along the discount off of your standard rates directly to AO Adventure Club members.

How will the Club generate new business for me?

1. The American Outdoorsman Adventure Club is being marketed to thousands of private resort club members. Thousands of resort members are receiving a personal telephone call invitation to join AO Adventure Club and will view your listing on our website. These members will have access to your listing through our website and will contact you directly to book their trips.
2. Since we own "The American Outdoorsman" national television and radio shows that reach over 85 million viewers and listeners across the US each week, we will be promoting the availability of your trips, through our club as part of our programming. The American Outdoorsman audience fits the profile for your target market.

How will your Club members book a trip with me?

AO Adventure Club members will contact you directly to book a trip and will identify themselves as an AO Adventure Club member. If you have any concerns or just want to verify they are a member and are eligible to receive the discount, just call our toll-free number 877-531-3111.

The AO Adventure Club member will have your contact information from your listing on our website.

Are there other outfitters who are potentially my competitor also in the club?

Participation in the AO Adventure Club is not exclusive. The requirements to participate are the same for all outfitters and since there are thousands of members who will have access to your listing, we are confident there is enough additional business for all outfitters who choose to participate. Remember you will be talking directly to our members who are interested in the type of guided/professional service you offer so you will have the chance to tell them directly why your service is better than any potential competitors.

Can I offer a different discount to your members and still participate?

The discount of 15% on guided services within the US & Canada and 20% on international guided services is the required discount. If you choose to offer a discount greater than the required, that is fantastic; however a discount less than the standard is not acceptable. We are confident that the additional business you will receive from our club members will support the discount you are passing along.

Do we have to provide the 15% discount on lodging or food?

The discount for AO Adventure Club members is only required for the guided adventure services you offer. If you are also providing lodging or food to our club members at your facility we are not requiring you to pass along any additional discounts on those services.
